The hotel is situated in a hilly area, just 18 km and 22 km respectively from the beautiful beaches of Barisardo (Cea) and Tortolì (Orri), and 30 km from S. Maria Navarrese. Nearby, guests can explore a variety of rock and woods, as well as natural caves and archaeological sites dating back to the Nuragic era. The hotel offers a wide range of excursions, including a day trip with il Trenino Verde, ("the little green train"); an ancient steam train with wooden carriages that rides along mountains and villages, and a full-day boat trip along the coast from Arbatax to Cala Gonone (lunch on board on request). Guests can also spend a spectacular night observing the firmament and its stars at the astronomic observatory of Monte Armidda (about 4 km from the hotel).
